Age: 21-40
Gender: Female (86%), Male (14%)
Social Demographic: ABC1 (80%)
Shops: Topshop, River Island, Schuh, Jack Wills, HMV, boutiques e.g. Prim.
Products: Perfume, Blackberry/other smart phone, books, independent/non-clichéd films.
Music: Frank Turner, Greg Holden, Florence and the Machine, Rosi Golan, Regina Spektor.
Television: Have I Got News For You, Mock the Week, QI, The Mighty Boosh, America’s Next Top Model, Never Mind the Buzzcocks.
Food: Health foods, Fairtrade products.
Other Interests: Festivals, protest marches, photography, art, fashion, politics.
My magazine is aimed at women aged between 21 and 40 in ABC1 demographic with a strong psychographic profile. They are connected through their interests outside of music, particularly fashion and politics, but also photography, art and culture. My magazine brings all these aspects together to produce a very psychographic specific final product. The minimalist appearance of my magazine would appeal to them as they live a very specific lifestyle, and whilst they occasionally enjoy roughing it at festivals, they live a very ordered life which is run by their smart phones. Industries that would advertise in my magazine would include fashion such as Chanel or Prada, jewellers such as Tiffany’s, media products, health foods and independent films and books.
